Is population growth the unfixable problem?
The biggest crisis facing the planet today is so big and so surrounded by delicate issues that most people will not face it. Simply put there are at least 200,000 more people alive today than yesterday.
Tomorrow there will be at least another 200,000 more. If you are upwards of 40, you have experienced a world population that has doubled. Our political leaders can no longer longer afford to bury their heads in the sand on the worlds number 1 problem. In the first 2000 years of civilistion the population grew to an estimated 6 billion people globally, yet it is only going to take 100 years to grow this amount again.

How does a government decide how to spend taxpayers dollars, what checks & balances are in place to ensure that your hard earned money is spent wisely. Around $200 million has been allocated to upgrade two stadiums using taxpayers money and around $300 million to develop a light rail system to Ammi. The question has to be asked how were these decisions made and what consultation process ensured that the government handouts represents the majority view. For example could the money have been spent on a longer term vision by developing a central sporting precinct.
Is the allocation of $200 million to upgrade Ammi Stadium and the Adelaide Oval a sensible use of taxpayers dollars or could the money have been spent on a longer term vision.

So how does spending $2 billion to replace an existing hospital rectify these issues. We take a closer look at this potential election issue to determine if this is the best decision and we openly invite members of the community to voice their views on this very important topic.
Will the new RAH fix SA's health system?
One suggestion put forward as a vision is to decentralise healthcare and build bigger and better hopitals in the suburbs, removing the pressure from neighbouring hospitals, adding beds and resources to a congested system. Is this a better idea? tell us what you think...
